A Sabbath Month for Life Church
Our church is now officially on summer break. This means that we are not having our normal Sunday gatherings for the rest of August in order for our church family to have an extended Sabbath to rest, rejuvenate, and prepare for the fall. Having a break for the rest of August will allow all of our incredible volunteers to have a 3-week respite.
Our Sunday morning gatherings will resume on September 1.
To help us stay connected with one another during the month of August, members of our church family will be hosting numerous social gatherings like fun outings, potluck meals, as well as prayer and worship nights so that we can spend time together with God.
We want to encourage you to find real rest, pursue silence and solitude, practice Sabbath, and keep on staying connected with the church family. You can listen to Insoo’s message from last Sunday where he taught from Matthew 11:28-30 on how we can find life through silence and solitude. Check out our website to hear the teaching.
Insoo also gave three book recommendations for the summer. We want to encourage you to check out one or all of these wonderful books during August.
