Storytelling at Missions Fest

  • Vancouver Convention Centre East 999 Canada Place Vancouver, BC, V6C 0C8 Canada (map)

Our very own Jenn Richards had the opportunity to be part of a storytelling night last July that revolved around stories about God working in our everyday Vancouver lives and neighbourhoods. Several of you came to that event and it was great! The organizer of that event put a proposal in with Missions Fest to do a similar type seminar and it was accepted and will be part of a whole afternoon this coming Saturday around the theme of “Into the Neighbourhood”.

This particular event happening at Missions Fest is especially great because it helps break down the mindset that “missions” is only about going overseas and not about being salt and light in our own backyards/workplaces/beer establishments etc…

We would like to invite any of you who are free and interested to come out and hear a bunch of great stories, including one about a fantastic church called Life Church:).

The workshop that Jenn Richards is storytelling at is from 12:30-1:30. The tickets for Missions Fest are free, but you need to register (or at least that’s what the website says).
